Hedeoma drummondii Bentham var. drummondii. Common name: Drummond's Hedeoma. Phenology: Jun-Sep. Habitat: Blackland prairies. Distribution: MN and MT south to TX, n. Mexico, and CA; disjunct eastward in MS and AL.

Taxonomy Comments: A second variety, var. crenulata Irving, is restricted to sc. Mexico.
