Helenium pinnatifidum (Nuttall) Rydberg. Common name: Savanna Sneezeweed. Phenology: Apr-May. Habitat: Wet pine savannas and adjacent ditches. Distribution: A Southeastern Coastal Plain endemic: se. NC south to s. FL, west to Panhandle FL, sw. GA, and s. AL.
