Hemianthus micranthemoides Nuttall. Common name: Nuttall's Micranthemum. Phenology: Sep-Oct. Habitat: Muddy, freshwater intertidal shores, possibly extinct. Distribution: NY (Hudson River) south to VA (Chesapeake Bay, Potomac River, James River).
