Hibiscus striatus Cavanilles ssp. lambertianus (Kunth) O.J. Blanchard. Section: Striati. Common name: Striped Rose-mallow. Phenology: May-Oct. Habitat: Marshes, especially coastal. Distribution: Se. and s. TX; s. Mexico (TAB), Central America, and South America; West Indies (Cuba, Jamaica).
