Ipomoea alba Linnaeus. Moonflower, Tropical Morning-glory. Phen: Sep-May (-Apr). Hab: Hammocks, marsh edges, disturbed areas. Dist: Ne. FL south to s. FL; Mexico south through Central America to Argentina; West Indies. Whether or not Ipomoea alba is native or introduced in our region is unclear.

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Synonymy : = Bah, Fl6, FNA14, K3, K4, Meso4.2, Mex, Tx, WH3, Wood et al (2020b); = Calonyction aculeatum (L.) House – S; = Convolvulus aculeatus L.
