Kellochloa brachyantha (Steudel) Lizarazu, M.V. Nicola, & Scataglini. Common name: Prairie Panic Grass. Phenology: Aug-Nov. Habitat: Prairies and sandy pinelands. Distribution: W. LA, AR, OK, and e. TX; disjunct eastward in sc. MS, sw. GA, and Panhandle FL (Nicola, Lizarazu, & Scataglini 2015).
