not marked as a favorite taxon Krigia occidentalis Nuttall. Common name: Western Cynthia. Phenology: Mar-May. Habitat: Glades and woodlands, dryish prairies on sandy or otherwise loose soils. Distribution: MO and KS south to LA and TX; eastwards as waify introductions or adventives.
