Lilaeopsis

not marked as a favorite taxon Lilaeopsis chinensis (Linnaeus) Kuntze. Common name: Marsh Lilaeopsis, Tidal Strapwort, Fiddler-crab Turf, Eastern Grasswort. Phenology: May-Oct. Habitat: Brackish and freshwater tidal marshes, especially in mud-flats in the intertidal zone, associated with Schoenoplectus pungens and other brackish marsh dominants. Distribution: NS south to c. peninsular FL and west to se. TX (Brown & Marcus 1998).
