*Liriope muscari (Decaisne) L.H. Bailey. Common name: Liriope, Big Blue Lilyturf. Habitat: Commonly planted, persistent and escaping, locally abundant. Distribution: Native of China, Japan, and Taiwan.

Origin/Endemic status: E., se., and s. Asia

Synonymy : = FNA26, K4, NS, POWO, Judd (2003), Nesom (2010j), Serviss et al (2016), not formally treated; = n/a — RAB, Tat; Ophiopogon muscari Decaisne. Basionym: Ophiopogon muscari Decne. 1867
