Lobelia boykinii Torrey & A. Gray ex A.L.P.P. de Candolle. Common name: Boykin’s Lobelia. Phenology: May-Jul (-Aug). Habitat: Pondcypress savannas and depression meadows. Distribution: NJ and DE south to w. Panhandle FL, s. AL, and s. MS (Sorrie & Leonard 1999).

Origin/Endemic status: Endemic

Taxonomy Comments: See McAvoy & Wilson (2014) for an account of its rediscovery in DE after a 100 year gap, and including details on its biology. See Carter, Baker, & Jenkins (2024) for discussion of its rediscovery in Florida and records in Georgia.
