*Ludwigia hexapetala (Hooker & Arnott) Zardini, H.Y. Gu, & Raven. Section: Jussiaea. Common name: Common Water-primrose. Phenology: May-Sep. Habitat: Ponds, lakes, sluggish waters of ditches or streams. Distribution: NC south to FL, west to OK and TX; also in CA, Europe, South America, Mexico; also introduced farther north in North America. Reported for DE and MD (Longbottom, Naczi, & Knapp 2016).
Origin/Endemic status: Neotropics
