Ludwigia lanceolata Elliott. Section: Isnardia. Common name: Lanceleaf Seedbox. Phenology: Aug-Sep. Habitat: Pocosins, interdune ponds, open wet areas. Distribution: Se. NC south to c. peninsular FL, west to Panhandle FL.
Origin/Endemic status: Endemic
Taxonomy Comments: This species is tetraploid (n = 16). Peng (1989) discusses various fertile hybrids and intergrades of this species with others, including L. ×simulata Small (pro sp.), the hybrid L. lanceolata x pilosa.
