Lupinus texensis Hooker. Common name: Texas Bluebonnet. Phenology: Mar-Apr. Habitat: Prairies, roadsides. Distribution: Sw. AR and se. OK south to s. LA, s. and w. TX, and Mexico (COA, NLE, and TAM).

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Synonymy : = Ar, Fl3, FNA11.1, K4, Mex, NcTx, S13, SE3, Tx, Isely (1998). Basionym: Lupinus texensis Hook. 1836
