Lycopus amplectens Rafinesque. Common name: Clasping Water-horehound. Phenology: Jun-Nov. Habitat: Clay-based Carolina bays, other moist habitats. Distribution: MA south to ne. FL; disjunct inland around the Great Lakes and (allegedly) in w. NC.
