not marked as a favorite taxon *Madia sativa Molina. Common name: Tarweed. Phenology: Jun. Habitat: Disturbed areas, scattered occurrences (perhaps only waifs) in eastern North America, (including GA, NC, PA). Distribution: Native of Chile and also w. North America (see FNA).
