Myriophyllum humile (Rafinesque) Morong. Subgenus: Brachytheca. Section: Tessaronia. Subsection: Spondylastrum. Common name: Low Water-milfoil. Phenology: Jun-Oct. Habitat: Millponds, other artificial ponds, slow-moving water of streams. Distribution: NS west to MN, south to DE, MD, VA, and IL.

Origin/Endemic status: Native
