Najas canadensis Michaux. Common name: Northern Naiad. Phenology: Jul-Aug. Habitat: Lakes, rivers, impoundments. Distribution: ME and MN south to VA, OH, and IN; in the west ID, WA, and OR (at least); also in n. Europe.
