Nephrolepis biserrata (Swartz) Schott. Common name: Giant Sword Fern. Phenology: Jan-Dec. Habitat: Dome swamps, strand swamps, wet hammocks, rockland hammocks, disturbed suburban areas. Distribution: Native of the tropics and subtropics of both hemispheres.

Taxonomy Comments: We interpret Nephrolepis falcata to be merely a form.
