Nymphoides humboldtiana (Kunth) Kuntze. Hab: Lakes, ponds, and other sluggish water. Dist: FL; West Indies; Mexico (CHP, VER), Central America, and South America.

Taxonomy Comments: A tetraploid species (2n=36) (Tippery et al. 2018). See Middleton et al. (2018) for detailed discussion of the occurrence of this species in our flora area and its taxonomic relationship and difficulty of determination from N. indica.
