Peperomia obtusifolia (Linnaeus) A. Dietrich var. floridana (Small) D.B. Ward. Common name: Florida Peperomia. Phenology: Jan-Dec. Habitat: Epiphytic in tropical hammocks, usually on bark of living wood well above ground level. Distribution: Endemic to s. peninsular FL (hammocks of Dade County).
