Phyllanthus evanescens Brandegee. Phenology: Mar-Nov. Habitat: Coastal prairies, disturbed areas. Distribution: AL (Macon County) (Diamond 2014), LA (St. Charles Parish) west to TX; south into Mexico (BCS, SIN, SON) and Central America.

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Synonymy : = FNA12, K4, Mex, Bouman et al (2022); > Phyllanthus avicularia Small — S13; > Phyllanthus pudens L.C.Wheeler — Ar, Tx, Govaerts, Frodin, & Radcliffe-Smith (2000), Webster (1970). Basionym: Phyllanthus evanescens Brandegee 1905
