*Phyllanthus fluitans Bentham ex Müller of Aargau. Common name: Red Root Floater. Habitat: Floating on stagnant waters of canals and streams. Distribution: Native of South America.

Origin/Endemic status: Neotropics

Other Comments: A potentially highly invasive aquatic weed. See Franck et al. (2016) and Wilder & Sowinski (2010).

Synonymy : = Fl2, FNA12, K4, Bouman et al (2022). Basionym: Phyllanthus fluitans Benth. ex Müller of Aargau 1863
