plant sale text: Whorled mountain-mint is a vigorous clumping perennial whose highly aromatic leaves look like they have been lightly frosted on top. In mid-late summer, the stems get topped by white flowers speckled with pink and purple that attract a wide variety of bees, butterflies and wasps. This plant can spread by rhizomes so either give it ample space in a meadow or plan to prune the roots by shovel each year to limit its space in a more formal garden.
