*Quercus myrsinifolia Blume. Chinese Evergreen Oak, Bamboo-leaf Oak, Chinese Ring-cupped Oak. Hab: Disturbed areas, naturalizing near rare plantings. Dist: Native of China. Reported naturalizing at several sites in GA Piedmont by Zomlefer et al. (2018).

Origin/Endemic status: E. and se. Asia

Synonymy : = Cyclobalanopsis myrsinifolia (Blume) Oerst. – Lin et al (2013); = n/a – FNA3
