Quercus acerifolia (E.J. Palmer) Stoynoff & W.J. Hess ex R.J. Jensen. Subgenus: Quercus. Section: Lobatae. Subsection: Coccineae. Maple-leaf Oak. Phen: Apr; Sep-Oct (of the second year). Hab: Glades and dry ridge-tops, calcareous glades, calcareous woodlands. Dist: Apparently endemic to AR.
