Rumex chrysocarpos Moris. Section: Axillares. Common name: Amamastla Dock. Phenology: Jul-Sep. Habitat: Swamps, disturbed wet areas. Distribution: Panhandle FL (where possibly not native?) and se. LA west to TX and ne. Mexico (TAM). Recently discovered in s. AL (Mobile County) (H. Horne, pers. comm., 2018).

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Synonymy : = K4, POWO; = Rumex chrysocarpus Moris — Fl4, FNA5, Mex, Tx, WH3, orthographic variant; > Rumex berlandieri Meisn. — S13; > Rumex langloisii Small — S13. Basionym: Rumex chrysocarpos Moris 1831
