Senna species 1. Common name: Nash’s Coffee Senna. Phenology: Aug-Oct. Habitat: Swamps. Distribution: Apparently endemic to c. peninsular FL.

Origin/Endemic status: Endemic

Taxonomy Comments: Ditremexa nashii (see synonymy) of peninsular FL warrants additional study; it seems dubiously combinable with Senna marilandica, based on morphology (such as the narrower and more acuminate leaflets) and biogeography.

Synonymy : = Ditremexa nashii Britton & Rose — S; < Cassia marilandica L. — Isely (1975), Robertson & Lee (1976); < Senna marilandica (L.) Link — Fl3, FNA11.1, K4, NS, POWO, SE3, WH3, Irwin & Barneby (1982), Isely (1998). Basionym: Ditremexa nashii Britton & Rose 1930
