Sideroxylon thornei (Cronquist) T.D. Pennington. Common name: Georgia Bully, Thorne's Bumelia, Swamp Bumelia. Phenology: May-Jun; Sep-Nov. Habitat: Bottomlands and limesink depressions, particularly over calcareous substrates. Distribution: E. GA south to Panhandle FL, and west to s. AL.
