Sophora nuttalliana B.L. Turner. Silky Necklacepod, White Loco. Phen: Apr-Jul. Hab: Grasslands, rock outcrops, and rocky hillsides. Dist: SD and WY south to nc. and sw. TX, NM, AZ, and Mexico (CHH, COA, NLE, SLP, SON).

ID notes: This herbaceous Sophora has the aspect of an Astragalus.

Origin/Endemic status: Native
