Habitat: Moist soils of pine savannas, marshes, seasonally flooded sinkhole ponds, roadside ditches. Distribution: ME to Panhandle FL, mainly on the Coastal Plain; disjunct around the Great Lakes (NY, MI, n. IN, n. IL).
