Symphyotrichum oolentangiense (Riddell) Nesom var. oolentangiense. Common name: Azure Aster. Phenology: Aug-Nov. Habitat: Prairies, glades. Distribution: NY, ON, MN, and SD, south to Panhandle FL and TX. Reported for GA (Kartesz 1999) on the basis of Fernald (1950), and also reported for GA in FNA. East to sw. TN (Chester, Wofford, & Kral 1997), AL, and Panhandle FL (Wunderlin & Hansen 2008).
