Tephrosia ×intermedia (Small) Nesom & Zarucchi.

Origin/Endemic status: Endemic

Taxonomy Comments: Needing additional investigation. Rather frequent hybrids between T. chrysophylla and T. florida are intermediate in morphology and have been found in AL, FL, GA, and MS; they have been given a hybrid binomial, T. ×intermedia (Small) Nesom & Zarucchi, replacing the later name T. ×floridana (Vail) Isely, which has been in regular use in the southeastern United States (Nesom & Zarucchi 2009).

Synonymy : = FNA11.1, K4, POWO; = Cracca floridana Vail; = Cracca intermedia Small = Cracca smallii Vail; = Tephrosia ×floridana (Vail) Isely — NS; = Tephrosia chrysophylla × florida. Basionym: Cracca intermedia Small 1894
