Trillium species 2. Subgenus: Trillium. Common name: Amicalola Trillium. Habitat: Rich forests. Distribution: N. GA and nw. SC.
Origin/Endemic status: Endemic
Taxonomy Comments: Under study by Tom Patrick, Tom Govus, and Susan Farmer. Also recently found in SC. Perhaps merely a form of T. simile.
