*Urochloa arrecta (Hackel ex T. Durand & Schinz) O. Morrone & Zuloaga. Common name: African Signalgrass, Tannergrass. Phenology: Dec. Habitat: Planted as forage and established and escaped into disturbed marshes, ditches, and wet pastures. Distribution: Native of Africa.

Origin/Endemic status: Subsaharan Africa
