*Veronica chamaedrys Linnaeus ssp. chamaedrys . Germander Speedwell. Phen: Apr-Jun. Hab: Roadsides, golf courses, lawns, rarely naturalized in forests. Dist: Native of Eurasia.

Origin/Endemic status: Eurasia

Taxonomy Comments: Our plants are the tetraploid and western European ssp. chamaedrys.

Other Comments: Albach in FNA 17 (2019) states that this species "may be native in northeastern areas of North America".
