Origin/Endemic status: Native
Taxonomy Comments: Sometimes weedy and considered by some to be adventive from farther south. At least some populations in our area are native and may additionally be worthy of taxonomic recognition as distinct from "true" X. jupicai (P. McMillan, pers. comm., 2003).
