Xyris serotina Chapman. Gray-leaved Yellow-eyed-grass. Phen: Sep. Hab: Depression meadows, ultisol savannas (Lynchburg/Rains complex or Eulonia/Oketee), ditches. Dist: Se. NC south to c. peninsular FL, west to s. MS, in the Coastal Plain.
