Taxonomy Comments: "Correll & Johnston (1970) and Flagg, Smith & Flory (2002) suggested that Zephyranthes jonesii might be the result of hybridization between Zephyranthes pulchella and Zephyranthes chlorosolen (Cooperia drummondii)" (Carr 2016).
