Chamaepericlymenum J. Hill. Common name: Dwarf Dogwood, Dwarf Cornel, Bunchberry.
A genus of 3 species, perennial herbs, of n. Eurasia and n. North America. See Cornaceae for discussion of generic treatment. The regrettable polysyllables of the name Chamaepericlymenum makes the well-warranted recognition of the genus a tough sell; there's science, and then there's marketing.
