Janochloa

not marked as a favorite taxon *Janochloa Zuloaga & Delfini.

A monotypic genus, a rhizomatous perennial, native to w. and s. Asia, but now widely distributed by introduction. Formerly usually included in Panicum; see Delfini et al. 92023) for discussion.
