*Crypsis schoenoides (Linnaeus) Lamarck. Common name: Swamp Pricklegrass. Phenology: Jul-Sep. Habitat: Disturbed areas, ballast. Distribution: Native of Mediterranean Europe.

Origin/Endemic status: Mediterranean Europe and Africa

Synonymy : = C, FNA25, Il, Mi, Mo1, NE, NS, Pa; Phleum schoenoides L.; = Heleochloa schoenoides (L.) Host ex Roem. — F, G, HC, Tat; = Sporobolus schoenoides (L.) P.M.Peterson — K4, NY, POWO, Peterson et al (2014a). Basionym: Phleum schoenoides L. 1753
