Gaillardia pulchella Fougeroux de Bondaroy var. drummondii (Hooker) B.L. Turner. Common name: Beach Blanket-flower. Phenology: Apr-Dec. Habitat: Dunes, sandy flats behind the dunes, roadsides and vacant lots on barrier islands. Distribution: Ne. NC south to FL, west to TX; Bahamas. Probably native only in TX (Franck 2020).
