Iva frutescens Linnaeus var. frutescens . Common name: Southern Maritime Marsh-elder. Phenology: Late Aug-Nov. Habitat: Brackish marshes and marsh edges, normally on the back side of barrier islands. Distribution: NJ south to s. FL, west to e. and se. TX.
