Sarracenia minor Walter var. okefenokeensis Schnell. Common name: Okeefenokee Hooded Pitcherplant. Phenology: Late Mar-early May. Habitat: On floating vegetation mats, ditches, and other very wet sites. Distribution: Endemic to Okeefenokee Swamp, se. GA. Deliberately introduced several decades ago in se. NC and persistent there.
