Symphyotrichum pilosum (Willdenow) Nesom var. pringlei (A. Gray) Nesom. Phenology: Sep-Nov. Habitat: Calcareous glades, calcareous barrens, other dry soil areas, especially or only over limestone or other calcareous rocks. Distribution: NS west to MN, south to GA and TN (Eastern Highland Rim) and MS Black Belt.

Origin/Endemic status: Native
