Juncaceae A.L. de Jussieu. Common name: Rush Family.
A family of about 8 genera and 350-440 species, herbs (and a few shrubs), largely of temperate regions of the Old and New World. Brožová, Proćków, & Záveská Drábková (2022) proposed a major restructuring of genera in Juncaceae; this proposal was rebutted by Elliott et al. (2022).
