Sapotaceae A.L. de Jussieu. Common name: Sapodilla Family.
A family of about 73 genera and about 1300 species, trees and shrubs, primarily tropical (rarely temperate), of Old World and New World, following the generic circumscriptions of Swenson et al. (2023).
