Urticaceae A.L. de Jussieu. Common name: Nettle Family.
A family of about 45 genera and 1000 species, herbs, shrubs, vines, and trees, of cosmopolitan distribution in tropical, subtropical, and temperate regions. Classification of tribes and genera follows Fu et al. (2025).
