Cephalotaxaceae F.W. Neger. Plum-yew Family.
A family of 3 genera and ca. 16 species, disjunctly distributed in temperate and subtropical areas of the Old and New Worlds. The family level distinction (or not) of Cephalotaxaceae and Taxaceae has been controversial; we here follow recent research (Ji et al. 2021, Majeed et al. 2018, Ghimire & Heo 2014) emphasizing the differences.
