Origin/Endemic status: Paleotropics

Taxonomy Comments: The recognition of varieties (based on variable leaf morphology) does not seem to be warranted (Stuppy et al. 1999).

Synonymy : = Fl2, FNA12, K3, Stuppy et al (1999); = Aleurites moluccana – Bah, orthographic variant; > Aleurites moluccanus (L.) Willd. var. katoi – K4
